Belinda M. Vega represents clients in all phases of litigation in federal and state courts, and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. She specializes in antitrust, securities and complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense. Ms. Vega also provides strategic counseling to in-house counsel on compliance and corporate best practices.
Before joining Hirschmann Law Group, Ms. Vega practiced with O'Melveny & Myers LLP from 1999 to 2011 in the Business Trials and Litigation, Antitrust Competition and E-Discovery Practice Groups. She represented clients such as Exxon Mobil Corporation, BP and Hynix Semiconductor, Inc., in numerous high profile cases.
Ms. Vega received her J.D. degree from Columbia Law School in 1999, where she served as Editor of the Columbia Business Law Review and on the executive board of the Columbia Law Women's Association and Latin American Law Student's Association. She graduated with Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1995.
Ms. Vega is a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Rent Adjustment Commission, appointed by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. She is also a member of the American, Los Angeles County and Federal Bar Associations and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
Ms. Vega is fluent in Spanish.
